Water Access

The Mount Hope River is our major body of water. It flows right through the center of town, starting at Morey Pond in the north and exiting Ashford at the Mansfield town line, just south of Joshua's Trust's Church Farm Preserve. Multiple smaller streams feed into the Mount Hope. Many of these smaller streams are accessible within the various public open spaces in town but are not listed here because access is farther into the woods. The places linked here will put you right on the water from a road or a short trail.
