This stream is accessible from Nott Highway (Rt. 74). Park at the Nipmuck Trail parking lot that is in the low spot between Krapf and Zaicek Roads. Take the spur trail at the north end of the parking lot to join the blue-blazed Nipmuck Trail in about 0.10 mile, and meet the brook at about 0.15. 

The trail follows the edge of Knowlton Brook for about 0.25 miles. It's a beautiful stream here as it tumbles over rocks on its way to joining the Mount Hope River to the east. There is easy access to the brook: the banks are quite level, and the water looks inviting. It would be a good place to stop for a picnic.
