Winter Outdoors in Ashford

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Axe Factory Road: The recommended location is the northern section, starting at the end  of Boston Hollow Road, on the right just before crossing the wooden bridge into Eastford. While the southern section of Axe Factory Road is residential, the northern section is not maintained as a road, but is still open and passable as it goes through Yale Forest. Park just off Boston Hollow Road, or across the bridge on the left side of the road in Eastford and walk back.
